For more than 30 years, the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (PSEC) has contributed to the development, promotion, and advancement of the art of pastel.
As a non-profit organization, the PSEC’s mission is to:
- promote artistic activities, as well as knowledge and appreciation of the arts in the field of pastel;
- organize exhibitions for its members and implement various initiatives that foster public education and awareness of pastel art;
- encourage artistic development through workshops, lectures, and the publication and dissemination of information about pastel.

In 2025, the PSEC was delighted to celebrate its 30th anniversary, an important milestone in our history that was marked by a very successful celebration in the fall.
This milestone is a testament to the passion, commitment, and generosity of all those who, over the years, have helped sustain our Society and promote the art of pastel.
