Born in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, I loved to draw at a very young age. I  received my first charcoal and oil pastels at 8 years old. Then I started painting in oil at adolescence.

Despite this awakening, I studied  mathematics. After a period devoted to my family and work a strong desire to get back to drawing leads me to the Montreal Visual Arts Center where I experienced watercolor and ink. In 2007, I finally adopted pastel, a medium that is well suited to my spontaneity. Vibrant colors, tactile medium, no waisting of time for drying, pastel conquired me.

I had my first solo exhibition in 2010, entered PSEC the same year. Then I became a signature member of the PSEC in 2012. I am now a member of the comittee of the society.

I continue to improve myself by taking master classes with masters; Marie-Hélène Auclair, Marilyn Ann Ranco, Sally Strand, Claude Texier, Desmond O'Hagan and Terry Ford.

I received some awards for my work and participated in many exhibitions.

My subjects presents strong contrasts and lively colors. I paint  as I feel; one finds landscape and the sea, but also characters and objects, always aiming to evoke emotion in the viewer.
