Born on May 11, 1960, Patrice Landry has, at a early age, showed drawing skills. He will soon experiment cartooning and making comic strips in school.

After studying in Graphic Art, he will be a graphic designer for 8 years, going from animation to technical drawing, producing packaging and printed advertising. But he will never stop developping his interest in art. It is only in 2000 that he will start painting seriously with oils, acrylics and pastel.

PSEC Signature member, he is also editor of the PSEC members' newsletter (PastelPost) and programmer and webmaster of this site as well as many other public and private Web sites and the society's Facebook page.

In October 2015, he has published, in collaboration with PSEC, a book in honour of great master pastellist and friend, Horace Champagne, entitled "A Man and his Pastels".

He is currently an analyst-programmer specialized in Web technologies and is also the author of a few published novels at Éditions Minamots (in French, available on various suppliers such as Amazon, Kobo and Apple iBooks). Furthermore, some of his short stories were published in a literature magazine.
