Meet the Artist and his Pastels
For this exhibition, PSEC has planned interactive meetings with renowned artists from the Society. This is a great opportunity to meet them and discuss the art of pastel, techniques and passions, and to ask questions. Some artists will even paint on site, although without offering a formal demonstration. A unique chance to know each other every day of week (except Monday, where the gallery is closed).

Discuss pastel with Ann Rochefort, first prize winner of the juried show in 2013

Meet the artist Josef Sy whose specialty is portraiture
Monday, November 3rd - The Gallery is closed

Mélissa Breault, a young and promising artist, will share her passion for pastels
Wednesday, November 5th, at 1 pm
Visite guidée : Lise Dagenais St-Hilaire : Her Guided Tour will focus on creating atmosphere in a painting
Thursday, November 6th, starting at 1 pm
Discuss pastel with Michel Raymond, well known for his atmospheric urban scenes
Friday, November 7th, starting at 1 pm
Meet Magda Bascaron, who believes in the importance of permeating oneself with the subject before starting a painting
Saturday, November 8th, starting at 1 pm
« Constructive Suggestions » with master pastellist Marie Hélène Auclair (individual meetings, in private - it is strongly suggested to make an appointement directly with the artist by writing to her at email@example.com - bring photos of your work or a tablet with digital images)
Sunday, November 9th, starting at 1 pm
Discuss pastels with Suzanne Godbout, accomplished artist and teacher. For the occasion, she will offer a guided tour (at 2:30 pm) as well painting on site.
