Public Choice Award: Two pastel paintings were selected ex-aequo and their author received an annual Musée Pierre-Boucher membership card.

Activities schedule

  • January 24th: activy open to all
    • Pastel demonstration with PSEC master pastellist Denis Jacques, at 1:30pm.
    • vernissage at 3pm.
  • January 31st: activity open to all
    • at 10am, visit of the museum and its vaults with Mrs. Andrée Brousseau, general manager of Pierre-Boucher Museum, followed by an artistic visit in nearby streets.
    • at 1pm, conference from Lise Lavoie Bouchard on Rodolphe Duguay, painter-engraver. She will be assisted by Mr. Lévis Martin, artist, art critic and historian. Note that an exhbition on Rodolphe Duguay artworks was presented at the same time as Pastel Toujours in Pierre-Boucher Museum.
  • February 5th, 6th and 10th: activity for selected audience
    • February 5th, Lyette Archambault gave a workshop entitled «Pastel Creativity from the Right Brain» to 2 groups of high school students (1st grade) as well as seniors.
    • February 6th, same workshop with local artists (Trois-Rivières and region).
    • February 10th, same workshop given to 2 groups of high school students (3rd grade).
  • February 28th: activity for PSEC members only
    • From 10am to 5 pm: Portrait workshop with master Denis Jacques.
  • March 12th: activity opened to all
    • from 10am to 4:30pm: Suzanne Godbout offered a 4-step on the «Demystification of pastel» including a morning conference and enant: en matinée une conférence et being acquainted with the material. In the afternoon, a demonstration followed by a pastel workshop.
  • March 13th: activity for PSEC members only
    • From 10am to 5 pm: Portrait workshop with master Denis Jacques.
