"Crystal de roche" from William-Daniel Cadieux, which received an honourary mention during "Les Pastellistes" enxhibition in 2016, was  published in the French magazine "Pratique des Arts". William-Daniel is among the 39 selected artists under the free theme contest entitled "Devenez l’artiste de l’année 2017". Good luck for the final selection that wil be published in 2018!

IMPORTANT REMINDER to all PSEC members: Do not forget that your annual membership renewal fees are due before December 31st 2017. To pay, open a member's session with your username and password then click on "Renew my membership", on the left under "My Profile".

Did you know that the Pastel Journal magazine features a 8-page article on our Signature Member Elaine Despins in the December 2017 issue? Now available in newstands and online.

 

Michelle Bonneville is thrilled to have won an Honourable Mention in the ‘Pastel 100’ annual competition for her painting of the Schnauzer Debonair Dog which will be featured in the April 2018 issue of the Pastel Journal.

The Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (PSEC) is a non-profit organization designed to:

  • Promote artistic activities and the development of pastel as a medium;
  • Hold exhibitions, workshops, conferences and publications for members, for the purpose of educating and increasing awareness of the pastel medium.

Did you know that PSEC has recently celebrated its 20th anniversary? We are proud of our results in expanding the knowledge of pastel and your donation could help us in the coming years.
